POLARIZE translates to "Vibrating in light waves", or, balance between polar opposites. Courtney Clark has created PoleArize from her Hollywood, California pole dance fitness classes. She taught this privately, and at CRUNCH gym for 8 years while also teaching Dance, Pilates and Yoga. Courtney has brought the idea of " Polarity" into all her classes and now educates people that throughout life, we should strive for balance, and live in light.

YOGA cultivates the feel between the Earth's gravity, the root chakra, by grounding the feet and body. The polar opposite is the upward pull from the Sun, the crown chakra, which lengthens energy from above. Yoga creates positive growth in all directions, and helps to lengthen the spine and energize the spirit.

PILATES has 8 principals: Centering, alignment, concentration, breathing, control, flowing movement, relaxation and imagination. By taking these 8 principals and applying the idea of polarity to each one, anyone can acheive a strong, balanced body.

DANCE is movement, a wave of vibration felt, that either learned or naturally explored brings harmony and balance to the dancer. Dance is polarized vertically, horizontally, angled and spinning, all of which gives lightness and balance to the body.
